Legal / terms of use

Clear terms for controlled digital guidance.

These terms apply when you create an account, purchase a document, or use Cyber Prepared’s protected downloads.

Last updated: 03 September 2026

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or purchasing a document, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you create an account for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Accounts and access

Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Access to purchased files is tied to the purchasing account and may require a fresh sign-in and ownership verification.

3. Document licence

A completed purchase grants the purchasing person or organization a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased document internally. You may not resell, publish, sublicense, or distribute the document outside that organization.

4. Payments and delivery

Prices are shown before checkout and payment is processed by Stripe. Access is granted only after payment is confirmed. Refunds, where required, are handled in accordance with applicable law and any policy presented at checkout.

5. Versions and archived guidance

Documents identify their version and update date. An archived version may remain available to an existing purchaser but will be marked outdated and may link to a newer edition that requires a separate purchase.

6. Professional judgement

Cyber Prepared documents provide general operational guidance, not legal advice or a guarantee against security incidents. Apply them using qualified professional judgement and adapt them to your systems, risks, obligations, and local law.

7. Responsible use

Do not attempt to bypass access controls, share protected download links, misuse the service, or interfere with its security. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect accounts, documents, or the service.
